The Heaphy Track
One of the most popular of New Zealand's nine Great Walks.
The track is 78.4 kilometres (48.7 miles) long and is usually takes four or five days to walk, and two to three days to cycle (during the open season from 1st of May to 30th November.
Starting at Brown Hut in the upper Aorere Valley, Golden Bay, approximately 33 km from Zatori. It's not a circuit track and returning to collect your vehicle can be difficult and time consuming.
Why not stay at Zatori before driving to Brown Hut, complete the track and fly back with Golden Bay Adventures. The plane is able to carry two cycles, so can cater for cyclists as well as trampers.
